Photobook: First spread, TOC, Covers, Professional Page

Here is the beginning designs of my photobook. I used Adobe InDesign to create the cover front and back of my book, a table of contents page, a professional artist page, and a 2 page spread.

Tasteful Typography: Activity 8

While at the Bannack ghost town Excursion in Montana with my class, I choose to do a themed series of ten pictures of door knobs. I like the mystery of what adventure lie behind all the doors we enter through in our lives. My quotes and text added onto the first three images reflects that idea, and has some great typography to go with it. Most of the door knobs had unique detail and were different colors and they quickly became one of my favorite things I saw while at Bannack. These are the fonts I choose to use for my typography:

Title: Bernard MT Condensed

Body: Avenir

BANNACK BEST-FINE ART

Below are non-portrait fine art photos taken at Bannack Ghost Town. I felt like this was one of the hardest blog posts because it was such a broad topic for what we could take pictures of, but I think I got a nice variety of pictures that display’s Bannack well.

BANNACK BEST- PORTRAITS

Taking Portraits was probably my favorite thing I photographed at Bannack, it really made the town come to life and inspired me! I never realized how important lights are, and how much they can add to a photo until these pictures below. The different light in all of these gives the characters so much life and feeling. Most have a continuous or auxiliary light.
