Blur No. 1, Date: 9/29/15, 7:27 PM, 18 mm, f/4.5,1/15, Canon Rebel T3i, tripod
For this I had my subject ride his motorcycle in a field. I set my camera up on a tripod. It took several tries until the picture was in-focus of him and the background was blurry.
Blur No. 2, Date:9/29/15, 7:45 PM, 53 mm, f/5.6, 1/10 , Canon Rebel T3i
This picture was made my changing the zoom while taking the picture. I first focused in on the colorful part of the weed, zoomed in as far as possible. I then clicked the shutter and zoomed out simultaneously.
Freeze No. 1, Date: 9/29/15, 10 PM, 27 mm, f/4.0,1/1000, Canon Rebel T3i, several lamps
Here I had my subject jump up into the air. This was the first picture I took after getting the idea to photograph someone jumping, so I was happy the first turned out how I wanted. I counted to three and clicked the shutter right as he jumped.
Freeze No. 2, Date: 9/29/15, 10:15 PM, 49 mm, f/5.6,1/1000, Canon Rebel T3i, several lamps
For this picture I had someone drop a handful of darts. I took about 10 pictures right in a row after one another. I also used the auto tone corrector in Photoshop on this picture.

Hey, Erica! I love how dramatic your last two photos are. For the Nerf bullets, I feel like there was some kind of intense war and he surrounded and dropped all his ammo or something. In other words, it tells a story. Well done. As far as your first photo goes, I looked up some tips for you with motorcycle/action shots: https://samadamsphoto.wordpress.com/2011/07/15/10-tips-for-bmx-photography/

Great job on your photos this week! I especially enjoyed the one with the dirt bike. The colors and lighting work so well together. It looks like something youd see in a magazine!

Awesome photos! I really like the composition of each of them. They are all really interesting. My favorite is your zoomed in photo. It looks really good. Your freeze photos are great they are really frozen in time. Great job!

These look really good Erica! My favorite is probably the last one with the darts. The one with the bike must’ve been super hard! You did a really good job on that one to. The jumping one reminds me of this kind of thing http://parishotelboutique.blogspot.com/2010/12/happy-monday-heads-up.html

I love your photos, Erica! You have a lot of fun subjects, that are really eye catching! I really don’t know if I have a favorite out of them. I really like how crisp the dirt bike rider is in comparison to the blurred background, and how the zoomed out picture came out! I tried doing a photo like that, but none of them turned out very well. I really like how serious the black and white, frozen jump picture is. It has some great emotion! I think your Nerf photo is really interesting, and fun. It brought me back a bit to my childhood!
